Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

Welcome to ONYX CLEAN (the "Service", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing our website, obtaining an instant quote, or booking a cleaning service, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Cleaning Standards & Checklists

We perform cleanings according to our standard checklist (available upon request or displayed during booking). First-time visits require a Deep Clean package to establish our baseline standard. Subsequent maintenance cleanings can be booked as Standard Cleanings at discounted frequencies.

3. The Heavy Duty Clause (Excessive Dirt Policy)

Our flat-rate pricing assumes standard living conditions. If a property is found to have severe clutter, mold, biohazards, animal feces, excessive trash, or post-construction debris that was not disclosed during booking, we reserve the right to:

  • Adjust the pricing on-site (with customer confirmation) to cover the extra labor hours required.
  • Cancel the service immediately if the environment poses a health or safety risk to our team.
  • Charge a $50 cancellation/truck fee if the service cannot be performed due to undisclosed hazardous conditions.

4. Cancellation & Rescheduling

We schedule our professional cleaners in advance to guarantee stable work shifts. If you need to cancel or reschedule a booking, you must provide at least 24 hours notice. Cleanings cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours notice will be subject to a $50 late cancellation fee.

5. Property Access & Lockouts

We must be provided with secure entry to your home (via lockbox code, keyless entry pad, physical key left with concierge, or someone on-site to open the door). If our cleaning crew arrives and is locked out of the home, we will wait for 20 minutes. If access is still not granted after 20 minutes, we will leave and charge a $50 lockout fee.

6. Liability & Damage Shield

ONYX CLEAN is fully insured, bonded, and takes extreme care in your home. However, we are not liable for:

  • Pre-existing damage (such as water stains, loose grout, scratches on appliances, or unstable shelving).
  • Damage to extremely delicate or high-value items that were not declared in writing prior to service (including crystal chandeliers, heirloom paintings, unsecured artwork, or high-value antiques).
  • Personal injuries or damages resulting from client presence in the work area during cleaning.

In the event of proven negligence causing damage to your items, our liability is limited to the lesser of: the cost of repairing/replacing the item, or a maximum cap of $500 per booking.

7. Telecommunications Consent (TCPA)

By providing your phone number and checking the communication checkbox, you consent to receive automated messages, SMS notifications, and transaction-related updates from ONYX CLEAN. Consent is not a condition of purchase, and you can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying "STOP".
